Marcello Zani, founder and main shaper of Sequoia Surfboards, is a distinctive figure. A unique cross-functional background: his extensive experience in the world of car racing in Romagna (a historical region in Northern Italy) influenced his decision to revolutionize the surfboard production business. A newborn idea: prioritizing scientific evidence and style over feelings and sensations without a foundation. To effectively communicate this message, there was an immediate need to develop a new impactful and visual communication strategy that seamlessly integrates into users' Instagram feeds.
From January 2022 to December 2023, we led the content creation for Sequoia Surfboards. Surfsuit was additionally responsible for overseeing social media account management. Adopting a Black & White theme to mirror Marcello's bold and contrasting ideas, the Instagram profile takes on the appearance of a chessboard, seamlessly aligning both action and product shots
