Roofless is the sister company of Blackwave, Italy's leading surf school, intending to shift its perception without compromising brand cohesion. Formerly possessing a more ambiguous identity, Roofless now exclusively promotes surf-themed travel. Surfsuit's role is to revive the brand's communication strategy, which had been inactive and overshadowed by the presence of Blackwave.
Our job started with a slight rework of the brand identity by choosing a new font and a simplified color palette of three elements for social media: white, black, and sand. Tommaso Pardini, Surfsuit's Art Director and experienced water photographer, played a pivotal role in elevating photos to the forefront. All videos and images shared by Roofless, whether through organic channels or sponsored content, aligned with the brand's mood, conveying a desire to explore new cultures, ride the ocean waves, and live unforgettable adventures.
