Tuttologic Surf was born as the first surf podcast in Italy in March 2021. Thanks to the active participation of the most influential representatives of the Italian surf movement, Tuttologic Surf Podcast immediately scores several top 10s on Spotify in the sports and entertainment category. The publishing project grows, generating interest and numbers already in the first months. The launch of the web magazine, tuttologicsurf.it, and the first merchandising t-shirt line is planned for September 2021.
Social, Spotify and YouTube allowed Tuttologic Surf to reach thousands of people but the need to have direct contact with the community was alive. Hence the Generations Tour, 4 events organized in the place most familiar to the podcast audience: the beaches of Italy. For 3 September weekends the Tuttologic Surf Podcast moved to Tuscany, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna and Lazio. The format included a live podcast with 3 guests per stop, key players of the local scene we were visiting and representatives of the 3 different generations of Italian surfing (1 pioneer, 1 Gen Y, 1 Gen Z). Followed by live music by Andrea Biagioni (X-Factor 10 and Sanremo Giovani finalist) and an aperitivo with feet in the sand.
The project in numbers
A successful physical activation that also had a strong impact on Tuttologic Surf's digital metrics. Rome, Pietrasanta, Viareggio, Genoa and Rimini gained positions and solidity in the ranking of the most represented cities within the community. The tour was fully repaid by t-shirt sales.
