We have been asked to rebuild the Italian leading surf school website, which in addition to surfing classes offers courses for all levels of skate and snowboarding, but also tourist experiences in the Ligurian Sea. The complexity of Blackwave's proposal required a great effort in the benchmarking and best practice research phase. We looked into mountain tourism and the youngest and most innovative hotellerie players. On the technical side, a critical factor was the need to manage all client proposals in the same ecosystem, selling services, subscriptions, courses and a range of physical products with an App integrated system.
Surf, Skate and Snowboard: the 3S of Blackwave open the Menu and are reflected in symmetrically designed pages. Next comes Academy, a youth competitive program that is the flagship of the Ligurian surf school, described in depth on the dedicated page. Experiences takes its cue from the Airbnb section of the same name and presents a catalog of tourism activities with the help of icons and infographics that enrich the user experience. The homepage immediately offers initial shortcuts in the navigation through 4 boxes that shoot towards the purchase of surf courses, skate courses, snowboard courses, and sea experiences.
