CHALLENGE
For the third consecutive Bear Surfboards production we unlock a new mood, we fly to Norway. Unique landscapes and locations triggered our creativity, but they also raise the bar. Alessandro Dotti, a videomaker and director expert in surfing but also in fashion, having worked with Monclair, Burlon, Fendi etc, joined the Surfsuit team. In 9 days we had to shoot several outfits and to film a surf movie too.
SOLUTION
Surfing at the edge of the Arctic Circle is an adventure for sure. At a time when a day trip to the countryside just outside the city can be told as a Jacque Costeau-esque exploration on social media, we wonder about the real meaning of the word “adventure.” This is the premise of the film written by Leonardo Franceschini and Alessandro Dotti that, thanks to an irreverent voiceover, alternates epicness and sarcasm, contemplation and mockery of the three young surfer protagonists. The Norway project will be released on YouTube in Autumn 2024.
